He was predeceased by: his parents, Perry Wideman and Ruby Wideman (Lebague); his significant other Marvetta Straub; and his siblings, Perry (Ellen Wideman), Barbara (Jim McCalister), Cecilia (Harold Moore), Evelyn (James Gard), Lila (Richard Lahn), Shirley (David Zanchetti), Patricia Woll, Larry Wideman and Gary Wideman.
He is survived by: his children, Chad Wideman of Donnellson and Amanda Scott of Greenville; his stepson Mike Straub (Sharon) of Maryville; and his siblings-in-law, Jane Wideman and Dennis Woll. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
