She was predeceased by: her parents, Charley B. Johnson and Agnes M Johnson (Brust); her husband Kenneth Rushing; her son Michael Rushing; her grandson Jordan Michael Houston; and her siblings, Louetta Houseman and David Johnson, Sr..
She is survived by: her children, Penny Hindman (Randy) of Anna and Edwin Rushing (Cindy) of Dongola; her grandchildren, Rebecca Corbit (Thomas), Remington Hindman, Journee Rushing, James Calvin Jones, Austin Rider and Taylor Rushing; her great grandchildren, Brinley, Natilyn, Easton, Ayla and Owen Corbit; her brother Charles Johnson (Kelly); and her close friend Pearl. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home (301 W Spring St, Anna, IL 62906). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 at the Christian Chapel Cemetery.
