He was predeceased by: his parents, George Merill and Maude Viola Bryan (Fox); his daughter Patricia Jane "P. J." Schubert; and his brothers, Claud Youngren, Richard Youngren and George P. Bryan.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Bryan of Dongola; his children, Kathy Bryan (Steve Hornbeak) of Anna and Sammy Bryan (Teri Hogan) of Carbondale; his son-in-law Ryan Schubert of Pekin; his grandchildren, Rachel, Riley and Sophia Bryan; his stepgranddaughter Jaclyn Frank (David); his stepgreat-grandchildren, Asher and Violet Frank; and his sister Gennie Steele (Bill) of Mapleton. He is also survived by other relatives and many friends.
