She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilborn Goines and Nina Goines (Gulley); her siblings, Suzie Goines, Roger and Eddie Goines; her parents-in-law, Elsie and Russell Shaffer; and her brother-in-law Michael Pass.
She is survived by: her husband Larry Shaffer of Dongola; her son Jon Shaffer (Tricia) of Anna; her grandsons, Drew Shaffer (Hana) of Dongola and Brandon Shaffer of Dongola; her siblings, Brad Goines (Tori) of Jonesboro and Jody Duckworth (Donnie) of Wetaug; her sisters-in-law, Deborah Pass of Herrin and Karen Goines of Moultrie, GA; and her son Larry. She is also survived by cousin that she spoke with daily, Mary Ann Bush; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Memorial contributions can be made to Christian Chapel Cemetery or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
