It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Billy Joe Thomas of Dongola, Illinois, who passed away on July 30, 2022, at the age of 41, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Thomas and Patsy Thomas (Whitehead); his siblings, Robert Thomas and Sandy Thomas; and his brothers-in-law, Carl Hite and Edward Lilly.
He is survived by: his wife Eugenia Hinkle; his children, Billy Joe Thomas, Jr., Joseph Charles Thomas and Catherine Jewel Thomas; his grandson Jaxson Charles Thomas; his siblings, Charles Thomas, Jr. (Tracey), Sandra Adams (Darrell), Lisa Lilly and Sherrie Thomas; his father-in-law Lonnie Hinkle (Jolene); and his siblings-in-law, Rebecca Bracken (Ricky) and Timothy Hinkle (Marc Epstein). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
In lieu of customary remembrances, memorial contributions may be made to Crain Funeral Home to assist the family with funeral expenses, and envelopes will be provided at the funeral home.
