It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Sherman Mayerak of Dolton, Illinois, born in Blue Island, Illinois, who passed away on December 1, 2023, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his mother Mary; his brother Alan; and his father-in-law Merle Broberg. He is survived by: his wife Dawn Mayerak (Soppet); his sons, Jeremiah Mayerak (Tammy Grzesik) and Joshua Mayerak (Sara Jensen); his siblings-in-law, Jayne Ramirez (late Tony Ogborn) and Gary Soppet; and his nephew Allen Soppet (Megan). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and grand-nieces and grand-nephews.
