She was predeceased by: her parents, Curtiss Eastland and Mary Evelyn Eastland (Singleton). She is survived by: her husband Wallace Beeson, Sr.; her children, Wesley Beeson (Mary), Nicole Beeson, Wallace Beeson, Jr. (Lara) and Jessica McDonald (Robert); and her siblings, Ronnie Holtane (Cookie) and Gay Boelcke (Douglas). She is also survived by three grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are requested to the American Cancer Society or the American Stroke Foundation.
