He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Lucille; his children, Danny Mendez (Eloisa), David Mendez (Rose), Vincent Mendez (Therese) and Mary Marcano; and his brothers, Joe Mendez (late Judy), George Mendez (Karen), Arthur Mendez and Mario Mendez (Norma). He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
