With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of William Henry Yarbrough Jr. of Dixon, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 28, 2025 at the age of 89. He was predeceased by: his parents, William H. Yarbrough, and Lucinda Yarbrough, Sr. (Tanner); his wife Katherine Yarbrough; his children, Dana Yarbrough, Darlene Webb and Brian Yarbrough; and his great grandchild Ava Yarbrough.
He is survived by: his daughters, Diane Granberry (Eddie) of Dixon, Donna Kendrick of Dixon and Debra Yarbrough of Dixon. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and 5 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Second Baptist Church (501 W 3rd St, Dixon, IL 61021). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the Oakwood Cemetery (416 S Dement Ave, Dixon, IL 61021).
A memorial has been established to Preston-Schilling Funeral Home.
