We bid farewell to Verney L. White Sr. (Dixon, Illinois), born in Tunica, Mississippi, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on November 8, 2024 at the age of 69. Verney touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his father Noel Winfield. He is survived by: his wife Paula Cunningham; his children, Verney, Jr., Dominic White (Cindy), Alexa Sweet (Kyle), Adam Wetsel and Charity Wetsel; his mother Essie Winfield (Noel); his aunts, Etta Barron and Annie Pearl Gamble; and his great-uncle Eddie Grandberry. He is also survived by cousins, and friends.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Second Baptist Church (501 W 3rd St, Dixon, IL 61021).
