She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilhelm Gassner and Friderun Gassner (Maier) of Dixon. She is survived by: her brothers, Günther Gassner of Sterling and Heinz Gassner (Monica Nedza) of Peru; and her aunt Herta Moran of Peru. She is also survived by several nephews, nieces, and great nephews and nieces.

In lieu of services and flowers, donations in her name can be made to the Granny Rose Animal Shelter in Dixon, IL.
