It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Ann Mooney of Dixon, Illinois, born in Wyanet, Illinois, who passed away on August 13, 2021, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Robert D. Mooney; her daughter Cindy Hicks; her siblings, Mary Lane Roberts, James Middleton (Dorinda), William Middleton (Joan), John Middleton, Raymond "Gene" Middleton and Charles Middleton; and her brother-in-law John Kincaid.
She is survived by: her daughters, Ellen Middleton (Anderson), Karen Stephenitch (Chuck) of Dixon and Linda Apple (Dean) of Dixon; her sisters, Margaret Lonnon (Bob) and Sharon Kincaid; her grandchildren, Andy Stephenitch (Heather), Brooke Derry (Lucas), Annie Bahr, Sara Beauchamp (Scott), Michael Breitzka (Rachel), Rachael Root (Kyle), LeAnne Deppisch (Judd) and Stephanie Apple (Brian Bonnell); her son-in-law Gregory L. Hicks; her sister-in-law Carolyn Middleton; and her great grandchildren, Ian, Caden, Brynn, Charlie, Cooper, Paige, Collin, Lauren, Owen, Barrett, Adelynn, Brielle, Greyson, Presley and Sloane.
