He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray Duffy and Helen Duffy; his brother Donald Wernick; and his sister-in-law Lois Wernick of Virginia Beach. He is survived by: his wife Fay (Long); his sons, Monte (Linda), Mike (Dee) of Dixon and Matt (Ronnie) of Roach, Missouri; his grandchildren, Chris Duffy of Chicago, Sarah Cox (Marcus) of Dixon, Erin Duffy of St. Louis and Jamie Duffy of Chicago; his great grandchild Willow Cox of Dixon; and his siblings, Richard (Lucy) of Tupelo, Charles (Jerre) of Mount Morris and Charlotte. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Ron's name to the Northside Baptist Church, 506 River Lane, Dixon, Illinois 61021 and/or to Serenity Hospice and Home, 1658 S IL Rt. 2, Oregon, Illinois 61061.
