He is survived by: his wife Karen Wilkens (Miller); his children, Carrie Gaul (Dennis) of South Bend and Rob Wilkens (Jen) of Dixon, IL.; his grandchildren, Katie Wolf (Ben), Jeremy Gaul (Hannah), Jessica Ortgiesen (Gunnar) and Stephanie Wilkens (Stephen Blackburn); his great grandchildren, Jackson Wolf, Joshua Gaul, Hunter Ortgiesen, Easton Ortgiesen and Lakelyn Ortgiesen; his siblings, Marge Gorzny, Jan Harksen, Gene Wilkens (Elaine) and Ken Wilkens (Rosemary); and his brother-in-law George Miller.
