He is survived by: his wife Becky Shoemaker; his daughters, Michelle Heffelfinger (Todd) of Sterling and Nikki Freeman (Mike) of Franklin Grove; his grandchildren, Graye Freeman (Allie), Claire Freeman, Madison Heffelfinger (Arthur) and Luke Heffelfinger (Blair); his great grandchildren, Eve and Wren Heffelfinger; and his siblings, Richard Moeller (Pauline), Ed Moeller, Dave Moeller (Karen), Donna Cover (Harry) and Mary Ann Steagall (Gerald). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
