He was predeceased by: his parents, Earnest Virgil Cossairt and Juanita Gertrude Bash; his wife Edith Irene Jarrett; and his siblings, Gwen Cantrell and Jack Cossairt.
He is survived by: his children, Vickie Yearian (Robert), Michael Cossairt (Martha) and Debbie Alvine (Bill); and his siblings, Marilyn Morris, Sally Atwood and Virgil Lee Cossairt. He is also survived by his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 at 9:00 AM at the Derfelt Funeral Home - Columbus (132 E Pine St, Columbus, KS 66725). A graveside service was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the Park Cemetery (1173 SE Wyandotte Rd, Columbus, KS 66725).
The family requests, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the Illinois Baptist State Association (IBSA) Disaster Relief Fund.
