She was predeceased by: her parents, Adrian Painter and Irene Painter (Rutledge); her son James Scott Powell; and her brother Duane Painter. She is survived by: her husband Bob Powell; her son Neil Powell (Kathy) of Dixon; her daughter-in-law Kristi Powell of Oregon, IL; and her siblings, Gordon Painter (Bobby) of Alabama, Keith Painter (Betty) of Whitehall, IL, Paul Painter (Donna) of Michigan, Jane Johnson of Michigan and Terry Painter (Diane) of Washington. She is also survived by four grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
