He was loved and cherished by many people including: his father Marcus Gonnerman; his son Greg; his wife Karen Elizabeth Spencer; his children, Gregory Gonnerman (Becky) of Des Moines, IA and Debra Schuler (Jim) of St. Charles, IL.; his grandchildren, Alex Schuler, Grant Gonnerman, Hannah Schuler and Alyssa Gonnerman; his sisters, Donna Schuler and Mary Ann Schuler (Russell); his parents-in-law, Harold and Ruth Spencer; his brother Frederick Gonnerman; and his brother-in-law Ernest Schuler.
A memorial fund as been established for the American Cancer Society.
