She was predeceased by: her parents, John Henry Townsend and Lillie Mae Cooks; her husband Lewis Sheppherd, Sr.; and her brother James Jack (Diane). She is survived by: her sons, Grady L. Osten-Garner (Kevin), Lewis Sheppherd (Jo'ann Long) and Chester Greene (Tanya Martinez); her sisters, Gladys Thomas (Abbott) and Vernice Tate; her grandchildren, Jasmin (Cullen), Brandon, Devin, Mercedes, Miranda (Derek), Bryce, Shayla (Addison), Dashad and Javion; and her great grandchildren, Kion, Daybrel, Harlow C, Hazel, Layla, Aaliyah, Maleigha, Aysen, Faye, Christian, Harlow H, Airiyah, Braelynn and Zenzali.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established to her spiritual home, The Worship Center, Dixon.
