Merle E. Ebersole Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Merle E. Ebersole (Dixon, Illinois), born in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania, who passed away on February 4, 2022, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Ebersole and Susan Ebersole (Khuns); his daughter Dora Quimby of Lakeland, Florida; and his siblings, John Ebersole, Edna, Ruth, Elizabeth, Anna and Mildred.
He is survived by: his wife Alice Jean Witmer; his children, Debra Hockensmith (Jeff) of Williams, Arizona and Samuel Ebersole (Paula) of Mt. Morris, Illinois; and his sister Lois Bair (Leroy) of Pennsylvania. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; seven great grandchildren.
