He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernon Misner, and Ruby Misner, Sr. (Burton); his daughter Susan Misner; his siblings, Nancy Jensen, Linda Schuenke (Robert) and William Misner; and his siblings-in-law, Kenneth Hanaman and Alice Misner.

He is survived by: his wife Donna Misner of Dixon; his siblings, Sandra Hanaman of Beloit, WI, Daniel Misner (Mary Jane) of Walworth, WI and Vernon "Bud" Misner, Jr. of Beloit, WI; his children, John Misner (Barbara) of Summerville, SC and Jean Weiner (Steven) of Sparta, WI; his stepchildren, Pam Robbins (Chris) of Dixon, IL, Terri Swegle (Mark) of Dixon, IL, Kim Ekker (Steve) of Sugar Grove, IL and Tammy Morgan (Bob) of Rock Island, IL; his grandchildren, Brian Misner, Annemarie Weiner and Drew Weiner (Ashley); his stepgrandchildren, Kendra Robbins, Kayla Halfacre (Tyler), Jill Hayes (Ross), Janice Westhoff (Greg), David Swegle, Andrew Ekker, Nick Ash and Brandon Ash; and his stepgreat-grandchildren, Brady, Parker, Natalie Halfacre, Henry, William, Ben, Joseph Hayes, Kinsley, Chesney and Aceson Westhoff.
