He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvoid D. Kemnitz and Catherine G. Kemnitz (Johannsen); his wife Nancy Edwards; his stepmother Winifred Kemnitz; his siblings, Janice Schriever, Rennea Luraski, Ray Kemnitz, Gerald Kemnitz, Warren Kemnitz and Glen Kemnitz; and his great great grandchild Anthony Harris Jr. Per.
He is survived by: his children, Linda Adams (David) of Kirkland and David Kemnitz (Janice) of Dixon; his stepchildren, Tracey Cleland of Capron, Sandy Bruch (Jim) of Kirkland, Carla Wolter of Paw Paw and Greg Wolter (Rose) of Kings; his siblings, Shirley Doughtry (Doc), Judy Jarding, Kathy Jones (John), Pat Greene and Danny Kemnitz (Linda); his grandchildren, Jenny Lechner (Russ), Jaime Lawrence, Grace Kemnitz and Jessica Kamm; and his pet Megan. He is also survived by great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
