Lois L. Burket Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lois L. Burket of Dixon, Illinois, who passed away on August 23, 2022, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Reuben Griffith and Minnie Griffith; her daughter Cheryl Hintz (Rob); her stepfather Frank Chapman; her brothers, Don and Gordon Griffith; and her sister-in-law Helen Griffith.
She is survived by: her children, Curt Burket (Bev) of Sandwich, Nancy Lauritzen of Sterling and Janice Teuscher (Mike) of Elburn; her grandchildren, Scott Burket (Kathleen), Michael Lehtinen, Miranda Lauritzen (Skyler), Jason Lauritzen (Taylor), Derek Lauritzen (Ashley), Andy Hintz, Ryan Hintz (Ayrin), Alex Hintz (Schyler), Brayden Teuscher (Rachel), Riley Teuscher (Alexandra), Preston Teuscher (Rebekah) and Jameson Teuscher; and her great grandchildren, Carson, Brody, Lucas Burket, Isabella Lehtinen, Cade, Lily Hintz, Madison Wise, Murphy, Everly Hintz, Ruby, Raymond Hintz, Kadence, Kendalyn Rodriguez, Vyla, Lenox, Rocky Lauritzen, Lola, Bowie Lauritzen and James Teuscher.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the CGH Foundation at 100 E LeFevre Road, Sterling, IL 61081, which will go toward dementia research.
