He was predeceased by: his parents, Nicholas Kellen and Catherine Faivre Kellen; his wife Mary Rose; and his siblings, Cecil Kellen, Valeria Clark, Les Kellen, Earl Kellen, Amelia Henrich, Gilbert Kellen, Margaret Danekas, Alberta Duffy, Nicholas Kellen and Jack Kellen.

He is survived by: his children, Linda Loescher (Dean) and Jim Kellen (Loretta); his grandsons, Jeremy Loescher (Katie), Jason Loescher (Katie) and Joe Loescher (Angelia); and his great grandchildren, Silja and Gretchen Loescher.

In Lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Immanuel Lutheran Church and Heritage Square, both in Dixon.
