It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of John R. Bonnell of Dixon, Illinois, who passed away on March 28, 2025, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Bonnell and Alice Bonnell (Toben); and his siblings, Vera Pierce, Joan Burger and Lawrence "Mick" Bonnell.

He is survived by: his wife Leticia Bonnell of Dixon; and his siblings, Pat Volden (Phil) of Janesville, WI and Don Bonnell. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service was held on Thursday, April 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Oak Knoll Memorial Park (18268 Pennington Rd, Sterling, IL 61081).
