He was predeceased by: his parents, Diane Utley, Sr. (Bechtold) and Jimmy Utley, Sr.; his stepfather Charles Thompson; and his sister Jill Carlson (Utley). He is survived by: his wife Jessica M. Becker-Utley; his children, Erica (Utley), Rachel (Utley) and Kevin; his sister Sue (Thompson); his grandsons, Carter and Eli Jones; and his nephews, Tyler, Trace Carlson and Alex Price.

A celebration of life was held on Sunday, January 26th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Dixon VFW Post #540 (1560 IL-38, Dixon, IL 61021).

Memorials may be directed to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and/or The Semper Fi Fund.
