He was predeceased by: his parents, Don Bunt and Evelyn Bunt (Settles). He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Bunt (Huffman); his daughters, Kristine Vancil (David) of Dittmer, MO and Joleen Elliott (John) of Salida, CO; his grandchildren, Dennis William Vancil and Charlie Kayla Vancil; and his brothers, Robert Bunt (Nancy) and Don Bunt.
Visitation will be held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Tuesday, March 4th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Preston-Schilling Funeral Home, Ltd. (213 Crawford Ave, Dixon, IL 61021). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 4th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:15 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, March 4th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Mt. Auburn Cemetery.
