He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter C. and Mary E. Hamrick, Sr. (Wright); his daughter Geri Hamrick; and his brothers, William Brazee and Robert Hamrick.

He is survived by: his daughters, Sherry Schaeffer (Jamie) of Dixon and Cathy Hamrick of Dixon; his brothers, Walter C. Hamrick, Jr. (Darlene) of Dixon and Elmer Hamrick (Tammy) of Kewanee; and his grandchildren, Jamie, Jr., Robert, Jesse, Owen, Madison, Kaylie and Kaysi.
