He was predeceased by: his parents, Colin Haywood and Mary Haywood (Kent); and his siblings, Donna Morehead, John Haywood, Leslie Haywood and Betty Bishop.
He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Haywood; his daughters, Jamie Haywood of Sterling, Colene Pottinger of Rochelle and Chara Daniels (Ronnie) of Grand Detour; his grandchildren, Angelle Pottinger, Kaitlyn Daniels and Carter Daniels; and his sisters, Ann Myers and Sharon Lahr (Richard). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established.
