James L. Matznick Obituary

We are sad to announce that on June 18, 2022, at the age of 76, James L. Matznick of Dixon, Illinois, born in Sterling, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Matznick and Winafred Matznick; and his wife Trudie Matznick. He is survived by: his children, Amy Boward (Johnny) of Gilbertsville, Kentucky and Barry Matznick (Kari) of Green Bay, Wisconsin; his siblings, Vicki Miller (Beaver) of Mount Carroll, Illinois and Tom Matznick; his grandchildren, Abbie Janicke (Keynon), Joshua Boward (Kayla Harrington) and Natalie Boward (Garrett Hurley); and his close friend Catherine Aurand.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established at St. Mark's Lutheran Church or Pheasants Forever.
