We are sad to announce that on December 12, 2024, at the age of 100, Grace Nattie Shoemaker of Dixon, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Samuel McClannahan; her husband Orville E. "Gene" Shoemaker, Sr.; her son John F. Shoemaker of Warner Robins, GA; her mother Myrtle Howard McClannahan (Kalebaugh); and her siblings, Marian Johnson (Clifford), Cecile Jones (Russ), Edward J. Kalebaugh, Orville Kalebaugh (Grace), John McClannahan (Dode), Lucille Kreger (LeRoy), Herbert McClannahan (Lucy) and Betty Jean McClannahan.
She is survived by: her sons, Orville Shoemaker, Jr. (Sharon) of Dixon and Gary Shoemaker (Debbie) of Dixon; her daughter-in-law Ann Shoemaker of Warner Robins, GA; her grandchildren, Wendy Miller (Steven), Michael Shoemaker (Sandra), Jeffery Shoemaker (Amy), David Shoemaker (Becky), Doug Shoemaker (Angie), Stacy Kness (Dustin), Shelia Gainous (Lee) and Keith Shoemaker; and her siblings-in-law, Ruth Anderson and Paul Stouffer. She is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren; 28 great-great-grandchildren.
