He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Schmall and Dorothy Schmall (Spencer); and his siblings, Marilynn Andrews, Lawrence Schmall, Daniel Schmall and Terry Schmall.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Schmall; his children, Chip Schmall of Dixon and Tracy Young (Bill) of Dixon; his grandchildren, Tyler Schmall, Courtney Schmall, Forrest Schmall, Riley Young, Renata Young and Cristian Smith; his great grandchildren, Reign, Andie and Scarlett; his siblings, Edward Schmall (Laurie), Rex Schmall (Dianne) of Dixon and Patricia Carter (Tony) of Rockford; and his grandson Alex Didier. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
