He was predeceased by: his parents, George Winfield and Alberta Ruthe Brooks (Owen); his sisters, Helen Wolber and Leonor Mumford; and his son-in-law Robert Fordham.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Brooks of Dixon; his children, David Brooks (Pam) of Dixon, June Fordham of Dixon, Alan Brooks (Erika Hernandez) of Dixon and Andrew Brooks (Julie) of Dixon; his grandchildren, Kristina McWethy (Ryan), Benjamin Brooks (Rachael Manuel), Elizabeth Kalas (Casey), Melissa Fordham, Shayla Brooks, Aaron Brooks, Colton Brooks, Olivia Brooks, Owen Brooks, Emily Brooks and Joel Brooks; and his great grandchildren, Carter McWethy, Logan House and Mazelee Brooks. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established.
