He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward L., Sr. and Josephine Novak (Buerger); and his brother John William Novak. He is survived by: his girlfriend Ginny Novak of Dixon; his children, William Novak (Kathy) of Springfield, John Novak (Lisa) of Bloomington, Heather Guy (Justin) of Morton, Crystal Cooper of Dekalb and April Queckboerner of Dixon; and his siblings, Debbie Boreson (Bruce) of Franklin Park, Greg Novak (Annette) of Chicago, Thomas Novak of Chicago, Daniel Novak (Terese) of Antioch and James Novak (Tara) of Franklin Park. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren; five great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; and many great nieces and great nephews.
