It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charlene Algina Koechig of Dixon, Illinois, born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on July 24, 2024, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Algina Becker (Ortlepp) and William A. Becker; and her sister Gladys Sherman. She is survived by: her daughter Stephanie McGuire (William) of Amboy, IL; her grandchildren, Adam Portner (Jennifer) of Dixon, Matthew Portner (Jennifer) of Dixon, Ian Deets of Dixon and Katie Deets (Bret Reynolds) of Dixon; her great grandchildren, Wyatt, Bella, Ryleigh, Kenadie, Cierra, Ryker and Ryan; her brother Wiliam Becker of Addison, IL; and her brother-in-law Richard Sherman.
