It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carolyn Marie Herwig of Dixon, Illinois, who passed away on May 5, 2022, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Carolyn Marie Herwig to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Leo Murphy and Ethel Murphy (Eisenberg); and her brother Ron. She is survived by: her husband Bill Herwig; her sons, Dr. W. Curtis Herwig (Kelly) of Geneva, IL and Keith Herwig (Karen) of Mankato, MN; and her sister Diane Harris (Chuck) of Surprise, AZ.. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; and 23 nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Dixon and/or The American Lung Cancer Society in honor of Carolyn Herwig.
