The passing of Carol M. Rick of Dixon, Illinois leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on January 20, 2025 at the age of 83. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Boyum and Norma Boyum (Sorenson); her daughter Heidi Jo; her uncle Victor; and her aunt Clara Scharberg.
She is survived by: her husband Ronald Rick of Dixon; her children, Robin Smith (Geoff) of Dixon, Jodi Murdock of Bradenton, FL, Jennifer Dewey (Robert) of Dixon and William Rick (Melanie) of Dixon; and her brothers, Norlyn Boyum, Kendall Boyum (Julie) of Peoria, AZ, Tom Boyum (Gail) of Bloomington, MN and Dwight Boyum (Judy) of Rochester, MN. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Dixon Elks Lodge (1279 Franklin Grove Rd, Dixon, IL 61021).
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established to Serenity Hospice and Home.
