She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold, Sr. Dodd and Clarabell Dodd (Cullins); her husband Raymond Lawson (Buckshot); her son Jimmy Oester; and her siblings, Harold Dodd, Walter Dodd, Fred Dodd, Evelyn Gidding, Betty Felder, Shirley Lehman, Joyce Mattix, Dorothy Regan and Beverly Knox.
She is survived by: her caregiver Shirley Venier of Dixon, IL; her daughter Tina Burns of Houston, TX; her stepdaughter Jody Kampe of Fulton, IL; her daughter-in-law Terri Pescatore of Fairview, TX; her daughter Kristi Moen of Milledgeville, IL; her grandchildren, Melissa Fields of Eldena, IL, Dustin Weaver of Dixon, IL, Joshua Oester of Fairview, TX, Tyler Venier (Ashley) of Dixon, IL, Mason Kampe of Davenport, IA and Brylee Kampe of Fulton, IL; her great grandchildren, Alex Fields, Brenna Fields of Eldena, IL, Katlyn Lantz of Amboy, IL, Madison Weaver of Rock Falls, IL, Sawyer Venier, Sutton Venier and Aniston Venier of Dixon, IL; her half-sister Toni Roldan of El Paso, TX; and her friends, Michael, Jayni and Ned O'Brien of Dixon, IL.. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Chapel Hill Funeral Home (1121 N Galena Ave, Dixon, IL 61021). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established.
