It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carmilla Nelson of Dixon, Illinois, born in Charlotte, Iowa, who passed away on March 10, 2021, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by: her children, Joe, Sue Nelson (Sandy Moore) of South Beloit, IL, Joseph Nelson (Vickie) of Ashton, IL and Bill Nelson (Maribeth) of Rochelle, IL; her grandchildren, Lisa Kurtzman (Chris Carter) of Myrtle Beach, SC, Tina Schroeder (Josh) of Madison, WI, Amy Hatfield (Dan) of Rochelle, IL, Angie Nelson of Rochelle, IL, Mary Ritchie (Craig) of Rochelle, IL, Zackery Beck (Jenetta Welty) of Erie, IL and Samantha Waliullah (Zach) of Crystal Lake, IL; her sister Dorothy Langrehr of Clinton, IA; and her godmother Theresa Hansen of Dewitt, IA.. She is also survived by 18 great grandchildren; three great great-grandchildren.
