He was predeceased by: his father William Barnes, Sr.; his granddaughter Amora Stokes; his siblings, Jeffrey Barnes and Kimberly Barnes; and his grandmother Ida Blackburn.
He is survived by: his mother Eleanor Barnes (Yates); his children, Tommy Hicks of Sterling, Chloe Cutler of Osceola, MO, Ashley Greenwalt (Antonio Stokes) of Dixon, Nick Parvin of Sterling and Isabella Barnes of Dixon; and his brother William Barnes, Jr.. He is also survived by seven grandchildren.
