He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester Taylor and Bessie Taylor (Shelton); his former wife Mary Ann Meadows; his wife Harriet Fitzpatrick; and his siblings, Owen Taylor, Ray Taylor, Guy Taylor, Ruth Campbell, Helen Taylor, George Taylor, Esther Lael (Gaylen) and Robert Taylor.
He is survived by: his children, Sherry Munroe of Dixon, Ricky Strub (Lucy) of Pompano Beach, FL, Timothy Taylor of Dixon, Benjamin Taylor, Jr. (Peggy) of Dixon, Susan Johnson of Grand Detour and Donna Taylor (Dave Rodriguez) of Dixon; his grandchildren, Jeremy, Shelby, Darcey, Chris, Bryan, Kim, Erica, Mary, Patty and Tim; his sister Lulabelle Woodrum of Springfield; his stepsons, Craig Foldennauer and Arden Strub Jr.; and his daughter-in-law Diane Taylor. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be directed to Northside Baptist Church (Children's camp fund), The Leydig Center, The Alzheimer Association, or Serenity Hospice.
