She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur White and Beverly White (Wentling); her husband David E. Howard; her brother David White; her mother-in-law Mae Hobbs; and her brother-in-law William Naylor.
She is survived by: her children, Michele Chandler of Dixon, Bobbi Bowser of Peru, Laurie Burkhart (Darren) of Winnebago, Tracy Howard of Winnebago and Tim Blair of Dixon; her stepchildren, Gary (Erin) of Dixon, Randy of Rockford and Kelle Bieschke (Lee) of Aurora; her sisters-in-law, Jackie Naylor of Dixon and Lorinda White of Dixon; and her pet Millie. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, six great-grandchildren; four step-grandchildren, two step-great-grandchildren.
