It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Ardith Elaine Ruthe of Dixon, Illinois, who passed away on October 22, 2022, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Elliott York and Vera York (Zipse); her husband Calvin Ruthe; and her sisters, Alverta Beck (James) and Nancy Hughes (Harry).

She is survived by: her children, Richard Ruthe of Palatine and Joann Smetters (Kevin) of Dixon; her brother James York of Freeport; and her grandchildren, Jessica, Stephanie, Kristen, Melissa, Marlena and Alex. She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
