He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Hildebrand and Mary Ella Hildebrand (Miller); his father-in-law Frank Young; his siblings, Joyce Hildebrand, Loras Hildebrand, Gladys Gaul, Thomas Hildebrand, Leonard Hildebrand, Jerome Hildebrand, Ruth Wagner, Mary Frances Milligan (Glen) and Robert Hildebrand; his sister-in-law Elaine Shaw; and his nephews, Peter Gaul, Danny Wagner, Kenny Klosterman and Dale Larson.
He is survived by: his wife Kelly Hildebrand; his children, Mary Ella Takantjas (Andrew) and Samuel Hildebrand; his mother-in-law Judy Young; his siblings, Richard Hildebrand (Donna), Steven Hildebrand, Norma Kelchen (Richard), Carol Gaul (David), Verna Klosterman (Sylvester) and Cathy Bartels (Roger); and his siblings-in-law, Paul Wagner (Joyce), Elaine Hildebrand, Phyllis Hildebrand, Helen Hildebrand of Holy Cross, IA and Christine Scheffler (Matthew). He is also survived by 41 nieces and nephews; and over 100 great and great-great nieces and nephews.
