He was predeceased by: his parents, Wayne Mays and Edith Mays (Atchison); his children, Crystal Atchison and Donald Oglesby; and his siblings, Charles Mays and Debbie Rowcliff.
He is survived by: his sons, Ron Atchison (Michelle) of Centralia, Mike and Ronald Oglesby (Donna); his sister Sheila Smith of Junction City; and his grandchildren, Dustin Atchison, Mike Atchison (Heather), Alexis Leinicke (Jason), Ronnie Oglesby, Becky Monical (Gary) and Mellisa Taulbee (Joe). He is also survived by many great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews as well as several special friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made honor of his great grandson to the Cerebral Palsy of Southwestern Illinois and will be accepted by Sutherland-Garnier Funeral Home and Cremation Services at 235 North Sycamore Street Centralia, Illinois, 62801, (618) 5323523 who is honored to be of service to the Atchison Family at this time.
