He was predeceased by: his parents, Marion Carlile and Lula Carlile (York); and his brother Steve Carlile. He is survived by: his children, Cameron Carlile of Mount Vernon, Roger D. Carlile, Jr. of Mount Vernon, Shannon Carlile of Mount Vernon and Afton Carlile (Dakota Hill) of Ewing, Illinois; his granddaughter Isabella Ray Hill; and his brothers, Keith Carlile, William Carlile, Dennis Carlile and Gale Carlile. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
