She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Theodore Hardy and Roxie Hardy (Grubbs); her spouse Grant Wilburn Hawkins of Mt. Vernon; her children, Kevin Grant Hawkins of Dix, IL, Brenda Hawkins of Joplin, MO and Karen Romig (Jeff) of Danville, IL; her son-in-law Jim Lane of Sturgis, KY; her grandchildren, Joshua Grant Lane (Crystal) of Stafford, Juliana Lane Higgason (Adam) of Mt. Washington, KY and Karis Romig of Danville, IL; her great grandchild Nathaniel James Lane of Stafford, Virginia; her siblings, Bob Hardy (Nellie) of Covington, IN and Martha Ratcliff (Edward) of Kingman, IN; her daughter Janetta Kay Lane; her sister Mary Ann Brentlinger; and her nephew Jim Hardy. She was also cherished by several nephews and nieces.
