He was predeceased by: his parents, Lenda Scott (Malin) and Daniel Scott. He is survived by: his children, Michael Scott II (Brya) of Woodlawn, Randi Gordzelik (Eric) of Mount Vernon and Alicia Meadows (Curtis) of Woodlawn; his grandchildren, Wyatt, Shyloh, Lexi, Kyla and Daniel; his siblings, Randy Scott, Jeff Scott, John Scott (Amy) and Raena Scott; and his nieces, Hillary and Hallie.

Memorials may be made in Michael's honor to the American Heart Association.
