As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Leslie Eugene may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his mother Darlena Bond (Lane). He is survived by: his father Harry Bond of Mount Vernon; and his siblings, Matt Bond (Amanda) of Walnut Hill, Illinois, Darla Bond of Metropolis and Carla Snow (Charles) of Mount Vernon, Illinois. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service was held on Monday, March 17th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Pleasant Hill Cemetery (19479 IL-37, Mt Vernon, IL 62864).
