Harold L. Beal Obituary
We are sad to announce that on October 22, 2020, at the age of 90, Harold L. Beal of Dix, Illinois, born in Champaign, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Othello Beal and Blanche Beal (Elliott); his former wives, Donna Beal (Baldridge) and Eunice Beal; and his brothers, Ron, Lawrence, Paul LeRoy Beal and Cliff Beal.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Lee Beal of Dix; his son Scott Beal (Jeanie) of Salem; his stepsons, Keith Smith and Tim Smith (Ann) of Salem; his daughters, Sheila Beal of Dallas, Sherrill White of Sandoval and Shellie Ross (James) of Manathie, Mississippi; his stepdaughters, Karla Smith, JuLee Hoke (Michael) and Gayanne Hoke (David); his grandchildren, Erin Markworst, Amber Neeley, Kelly White, Richard White, Chloe Beal, Caden Beal, Joshua Cobb and Brandon Cobb; his stepgrandchildren, Korey Smith, Keri Phillips, Kathleen Belew, Nicholas Smith, Faith Smith, Joshua Hoke, AshLee Willhite and Caleb Hoke; his siblings, Clyde Beal (Linda Davis) of Mt. Vernon and Ada Standerfer (Jerry) of Mt. Vernon; and his sisters-in-law, Peggy Beal of Richview and Cathy Brown of Chicago. He is also survived by twelve great-grandchildren; two step-great-grandchildren.
Due to the current circumstances regarding the ongoing pandemic, attendees have the option to listen to the service from the parking lot of the church, by tuning their radios to 93. 3 FM, at the appropriate time.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to Pioneer Bible Translators, Colegio Biblico, or Pinehaven Christian Children's Home, and will be accepted at the service, or by mail to the Osborn Funeral Home, P.O. Box 130, Dix, Illinois 62830.
